Ultimate Blog Party Intro

Hi, I'm Amber.  Welcome to The Mommy Earth!

I'm joining the Ultimate Blog Party for the first time today, on the very last day -- even though I found out about it on the first day.  I'm not a procrastinator at all.  Right.

This is me with my family recently on a visit with my grandma.

Below is a better photo, where we're all actually looking toward the camera at once, but it's not as recent.  It was taken by a friend last summer when we visited Indiana for a church meeting.

 

I'm really not very good at introductions, and I'm a little short on time today too.  I'm sure you can't imagine why after seeing my family. ;)

I'll also just mention here (it's kind of in a category by itself) that my brother, Clint, died tragically in a freak car accident last summer, and sometimes I write things related to that, too.  I'm still dealing with losing him.  I have no way of knowing how much more I'll write about this, but that's part of who I am now too, and if you've lost someone close to you, I can relate.
